If you have landed here then chances are you already know us.
We are best friends who have been together since 2000 and were married in 2007. Our relationships (and personalities) can best be described as a "mullet" -- Lauren is the business; Jeff is the party.
Here you will find frequent musings about our life. We regularly update our photo album and you can follow along as we attempt to check items off of our bucket lists.
Welcome to a little slice of our world -- come on in and look around!

In October we will be taking an 11 day vacation to coastal Maine. We will be staying about 20 minutes outside of Portland (largest city in Maine). We are already very excited.
The home is situated on 10 secluded acres, is dog-friendly (Harlow will be excited!), has a hot tub, gas grill, two-car garage, large kitchen, king bed and baby grand piano – what more could we need?
Now, all we have to do is wait 10 more months (boooo!) and our vacation will be here!
Here are some pictures of the house we have rented:
Dear Tiger,
I just read that you have finally admitted to your numerous affairs. Congrats to you for finally coming clean, I’m sure you feel better getting it out of your system (although something tells me your publicist had something to do with this). However, your sudden bout of honesty doesn’t excuse the fact that you are a selfish, cowardly, pitiful, asshole.
I feel horrible for Elin – her heart is surely aching – she gave you two adorable children, supported your career and while you were gone for weeks at a time took care of your home and family. She should leave your sorry ass but won’t because she values her wedding vows and deep inside wants to believe you do too (that, and having millions of dollars probably doesn’t hurt either).
Your mistress’ have reported that you said being married wasn’t “what you expected”. What did you expect? A parade every morning and fireworks every night? If you go through life thinking everyday is going to be a fairytale then unfortunately you will be hugely disappointed because most days are just routine (yes, for everyone, not just you!).
If you think a mistress is what will make you happy then you will be sad with the realization that what you’re searching for can only be found within you – no one else can make you happy (not even some cute cocktail waitress with a nice smile). No matter where you go, there you are – the more you run from yourself the more disappointed you will feel.
I’m sure having sex with a slutty stranger is exciting but even if you married her (and really, why would you want to marry someone who has no morals and thinks sleeping with a married man is okay?) you would again be disappointed to learn that even life with a “freak in the sheets” can be mundane at times- there will always be dishes, laundry, bills and appointments (and sorry, your new life wouldn’t have a parade every morning, either).
If you learned to love what you have and focused all your time and energy (that you spent pursuing other women, lying, cheating, running from yourself) on your wife, children and family then maybe you would find that even though life isn’t always perfect and everyday isn’t always glamorous, true happiness can be found in the simplest of thing and that you don’t need a daily parade to feel fulfilled.
You get what you give… and if you give your all it will always come back to you at least one hundred fold.
Sincerely,
A Former Fan
If you have not already noticed we have a new feature on our site. If you click on “Videos” on the top toolbar (it is located between “Wish Lists” and “Contacts”) you can view our home movies. Most of them are just random, silly moments between the two of us or videos of our animals.
Enjoy!
